Peggy Skycraft: Hand Marbled Papers and Silks, Acrylics
Peggy is a professional designer/producer of decorative papers. She has operated a production studio since 1970, creating large editions for an international market, including bookbinders, framers, specialty paper stores and interior designers. She studied design at the School of the Chicago Art Institute, and later received her BA in painting at Portland State University. She is well known for her original marbled art which is reproduced in graphic designs all over the USA, on books, posters, packaging and in magazines.
Peggy Skycraft’s studio and home are on a farm in the foothills of the Cascades near Estacada,Oregon, not far from Portland.
